Three prototype proposed by UTM were approved in the recent Flood Prototype Grant with a grand total amount of RM 500,000. The recipients are as follows:
- Dr Mohd. Yazid Idris with an integrated Advanced Dialysis Nepphrology Application Network (ADNAN) hemodialysis system together with ViTAL box to support online and offline modes, providing automatic data synchronization with data privacy and security features for data loss mitigation and patient tracking.
- Prof Ani Idris with a compact lightweight high performance nanofiltration membrane system for water filtration.
- Prof Ahmad Fauzi Ismail with a fully locally developed integrated mobile reverse osmosis (RO) Membrane Water Purification system for flood relief.
