Aims and scope
Journal of Advanced Geospatial Science & Technology is an open access journal that publishes the advanced research on the theoretical, conceptual, and methodological including innovative application and development of geoinformatics, remote sensing and geomatics science and technology. This journal is founded by the Faculty of Built Environment and Surveying, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia and published in partnership with UTM Press. This journal is committed to be listed in Scopus and ISI indexing within next 3 to 5 years.
This journal aims to provide a platform for communication between researchers and professionals concerned with the following topics:
- Artificial intelligence, Machine learning, and Deep learning
- IoT, sensors, Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (Drone), Light Detection and Ranging (Lidar), Hyperspectral and High spatial resolution satellite data application, ground penetration radar (GPR), Laser scanning
- Big geo data including geo cloud computing
- Geovisual analytics and modelling
- 3D and multi- dimensions Geographic Information System (GIS)
- Advances in Geo-crowdsourcing and Volunteered Geographic Information
- Advances in geodesy, geodynamics, and deformation monitoring
- Ocean dynamics and tidal modeling
- Advances in satellite geodesy, photogrammetry and hydrography
We encourage papers in novel theories, practices and innovative applications in the fields above, or of an interdisciplinary nature which may reflect the topics.
Journal of Advanced Geospatial Science & Technology’s editorial committee consists of 15 professors and research scientists from Malaysia and different countries, such as Australia, United Kingdom, Taiwan, and Singapore.
Journal of Advanced Geospatial Science & Technology operates a single-blind peer review policy.
